Teaching
My teaching is student-centered and focuses on providing students with employable skills and opportunities that enhance their likelihood for success in conservation-focused careers.
I have a sincere passion for engaging with students, both in the classroom and through mentoring motivated undergraduates through independent studies and senior theses. I also try to incorporate research and data analysis into my courses. Students (and citizens) with a strong understanding of how to work with data and how data informs decision making science can more critically evaluate science in their everyday lives.
